지난 8월 13일 오전, 당진시출입기자단 회원사들과 차담회를 가진 당진시의회 김선호 의장의 모습은 당차고 명확했다.
형식에 구애받지 않는 자신감과 자유로움, 그리고 "어떤 질문이든 다 받겠다"며 미소 짓는 태도 속에서 그가 지닌 소통의 깊이와 의정 운영에 대한 확신을 읽을 수 있었다.

On the morning of August 13, during a tea time meeting with the press corps of Dangjin City, Chairman Kim Seon-ho of the Dangjin City Council presented himself with clarity and unshakeable confidence. Unbound by formality and flashing a warm smile while declaring, “I am ready to answer any question,” his attitude reflected a deep commitment to open communication and firm confidence in his legislative vision.
Having built a career through real-world business experiences in the United States rather than merely studying theory abroad, his background serves as the bedrock for a pragmatic and bold style of leadership. His unique election as Council Chairman—being a member of the Democratic Party of Korea yet earning the decisive support of People Power Party members—proves his innate political capacity for bipartisan integration and dialogue that prioritizes citizens over party lines.
