민주평화통일자문회의 서산시협의회(협의회장 한옥화) 여성분과위원회는 지난 11일 해화담에서 한서대학교 어학교육원(원장 김진우) 외국인 유학생들과 함께 추석맞이 문화교류 행사 「송편으로 잇는 평화, 함께하는 서산」을 개최했다.
이번 행사는 추석 명절에도 고국으로 돌아가기 어려운 외국인 유학생들에게 한국의 전통 명절문화를 직접 체험할 기회를 제공하고, 지역사회와의 교류를 통해 서산의 따뜻한 정과 공동체 문화를 느낄 수 있도록 마련됐다.
이날 행사에는 방글라데시, 미얀마, 중국 등에서 온 한서대학교 외국인 유학생 20명과 민주평화통일자문회의 서산시협의회 여성 자문위원들이 참여했다.
참가자들은 조별로 송편을 빚으며 한국의 추석 명절문화를 체험하고, 나눔농장 윤수견 장인의 설명을 들으며 소고기 떡갈비를 직접 만드는 시간을 가졌다.

이어 "고향과 가족이 많이 그립겠지만 서산에서 생활하는 동안 우리 지역사회의 따뜻한 마음과 살기 좋은 서산의 모습을 느끼며 좋은 추억을 만들어 가길 바란다"고 전했다.
