[영천/CTN]이수현 기자= 김병삼 영천시장은 "여행작가들의 세심한 취재와 기사를 통해 영천의 다채로운 매력이 널리 알려지길 기대한다"라며 "9월 13일 렛츠런파크 개장과 반값 여행 혜택이 시너지를 발휘해 영천이 체류형 관광도시로 도약할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다"라고 말했다. 영천시는 한국여행작가협회 소속 작가들을 초청해 팸투어를 진행했다고 밝혔다.
영천시에 따르면 참가자들은 개장을 앞둔 렛츠런파크 영천 현장을 비롯해 신성일기념관, 보현산댐 출렁다리, 와이너리 등 '영천반값여행' 주요 코스를 탐방했다.
시는 작가들의 취재를 바탕으로 블로그와 SNS, 여행 전문 매체 등에 고품격 콘텐츠를 확산시켜 관광객 유치를 도모한다는 방침이다.
지자체가 주요 관광지와 신규 시설 개장을 앞두고 여행 작가나 인플루언서를 초청해 팸투어를 열고 홍보하는 것은 지방정부의 정례적인 관광 마케팅 행정이다.
