- 18일 부서별 준비상황 보고회 개최... 교통·안전·환경 등 현장 대응체계 종합 점검

천안시가 18일 ‘2026 천안 K-컬처박람회’ 부서별 준비상황 보고회를 진행하고 있다.
[천안/CTN]강현수 기자 = 천안시가 오는 9월 개최되는 ‘2026 천안 K-컬처박람회’의 성공적인 막을 올리기 위해 전 부서의 행정력을 결집하며 본격적인 실행 체계 가동에 돌입했다.
시는 18일 부서별 준비상황 보고회를 개최하고, 대규모 글로벌 문화행사를 안정적이고 매끄럽게 운영하기 위한 교통, 안전, 관광, 환경, 먹거리 등 시정 전반의 현장 대응 체계와 부서 간 협업 사항을 종합적으로 점검했다.
특히 대규모 인파가 몰릴 것으로 예상됨에 따라 경찰, 소방 등 유관기관과의 유기적인 공조 체계를 한층 강화하는 한편, 현장 중심의 실전형 안전관리와 원활한 교통 흐름 확보, 쾌적한 행사장 환경 조성에 시정 역량을 집중하기로 했다. 이와 함께 관람객들이 체감하는 만족도를 극대화하기 위해 자원봉사자 효율적 운영, 친환경 다회용기 도입, 행사장 주변 악취 저감 대책 등 디테일한 세부 방안 마련에도 속도를 내고 있다.
김석필 천안시장 권한대행 부시장은 “천안 K-컬처 박람회는 단순한 일회성 문화행사를 넘어 천안시의 고도화된 도시 운영 역량과 문화적 품격을 전 세계에 증명하는 무대”라며 “부서 간 빈틈없는 유기적 협업 및 철저한 현장 준비를 통해 시민과 국내외 방문객 모두가 안전하고 편안하게 축제를 즐길 수 있도록 완벽을 기해달라”고 당부했다.
한편 ‘2026 천안 K-컬처 박람회’는 오는 9월 2일부터 6일까지 독립기념관 일원에서 성대하게 개최된다. 이번 박람회는 K-팝을 비롯해 K-콘텐츠, K-푸드 등 다채롭고 역동적인 한류 콘텐츠를 한자리에서 만날 수 있는 글로벌 문화 축제로 치러질 예정이다.

In particular, anticipating a massive influx of visitors, the city decided to strengthen organic coordination with related agencies such as the police and fire stations. Administrative focus will be placed on field-centered safety management, smooth traffic operation, and creating a pleasant event environment. Concurrently, to maximize visitor satisfaction, the city is accelerating the preparation of detailed plans, including the efficient management of volunteers, the introduction of eco-friendly multi-use containers, and measures to reduce odors around the venue.
Kim Seok-pil, Vice Mayor and Acting Mayor of Cheonan, stated, "The Cheonan K-Culture Expo is not just a one-time cultural event, but a stage that demonstrates Cheonan's advanced city management capabilities and cultural dignity to the world." He urged, "Please ensure flawless preparations through organic collaboration between departments and tight on-site readiness so that both citizens and domestic and foreign visitors can enjoy the expo safely and comfortably."
Meanwhile, the '2026 Cheonan K-Culture Expo' will be held grandly from September 2 to 6 around the Independence Hall of Korea. It is slated to be a global cultural festival showcasing diverse and dynamic Hallyu contents, including K-pop, K-content, and K-food, all in one place.
