드론까지 띄워 131곳 점검한 정읍시, 평가 최우수 쾌거

4월부터 6월까지 민간 전문가 및 관계기관 합동으로 131개 시설 집중 점검
무인기 드론 활용해 접근 곤란 시설 점검하고 주민점검신청제 적극 운영

[정읍/CTN]최동주 기자= 이학수 정읍시장은 "이번 최우수 기관 선정은 민간 전문가와 관계기관, 시민과 공무원이 안전한 지역사회를 만들기 위해 함께 노력한 결실"이라며 "앞으로도 전문적이고 효과적인 현장점검과 철저한 후속관리를 통해 시민 모두가 안심하고 살 수 있는 안전도시 정읍을 만들겠다"라고 말했다.

정읍시는 전북특별자치도가 주관한 '2026년 집중안전점검 평가'에서 최우수 기관으로 선정됐다고 밝혔다.

이번 평가는 집중안전점검 추진체계와 현장점검의 전문성, 주민 참여, 지적사항 후속관리 등 점검 전반의 성과를 종합적으로 측정해 진행됐다.

정읍시는 지난 4월 20일부터 6월 19일까지 관내 131개 주요 시설을 대상으로 집중안전점검을 실시했다.

점검 과정에서 정읍시는 시설·소방·전기·가스 분야 민간 전문가와 관계기관 합동 점검반을 구성하고 특성에 맞는 전문장비를 적극 활용했다.

특히 정읍시가 보유한 무인기 드론을 투입해 사람이 접근하기 어려운 고층 및 사각지대 시설 9곳을 다각도로 촬영해 점검의 정확도를 높였다. 또한 시민이 직접 점검을 신청하는 '주민점검신청제'를 운영하고 확인된 위험요인에 대해 현장 즉시 조치 및 정밀안전진단 등 철저한 후속 조치를 이어가고 있다고 밝혔다.

Jeongeup City announced that it was selected as the top institution in the '2026 Intensive Safety Inspection Evaluation' organized by Jeonbuk State.

The evaluation comprehensively reviewed the execution system, expertise of field inspections, citizen participation, and follow-up management of identified risks.

From April 20 to June 19, Jeongeup City conducted intensive safety inspections across 131 local facilities.

The city mobilized private experts across fire, electricity, and gas sectors, using municipal drones to inspect nine hard-to-reach high-altitude facilities.

Jeongeup City added that it actively operated a resident-requested inspection system and is carrying out follow-up repairs and precise safety evaluations for detected hazards.
