원도심 관광 침체, 한 달짜리 행사로 때우기?
나주읍성 일원서 전시·공연·도심캠핑·야간러닝 등 다채로운 프로그램 운영

[나주/CTN]하성매 기자= 김찬동 나주문화재단 대표이사는 "나주읍성은 소중한 역사 문화자원을 품고 있으면서 문화와 예술을 함께 즐길 수 있는 매력적인 공간이다"라며 "9월 한 달간 이어지는 프로그램을 통해 시민과 관광객들이 원도심 곳곳을 누비며 새로운 매력을 발견하길 바란다"라고 말했다. 나주문화재단은 9월 한 달간 나주읍성 일대에서 낮과 밤을 잇는 '온종일 문화여행' 프로그램을 운영한다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 낮 시간대 전시와 역사 문화 체험에서 시작해 저녁과 밤에는 산책, 러닝, 음악 공연으로 이어지는 체류형 관광 프로그램으로 기획됐다. 9월 5일과 12일, 13일에는 동헌터 일원에서 나주읍성을 배경으로 한 '도심캠핑'이 진행된다. 첫날인 5일에는 플리마켓과 '공존공생문화페스타'가 열리며, 12일에는 '수문장, 나주성에 서다' 재현 행사가 개최된다.
전시 프로그램으로는 9월 8일부터 나주 나빌레라문화센터에서 테리 보더 작가의 '벤트 아트' 작품을 선보이는 '테리 보더展'이 개최되며 주말 도슨트 및 체험 프로그램이 함께 운영된다.
특히 9월 19일에는 주요 하이라이트 행사가 연이어 개최된다. 나주 첫만남센터에서 진모영 감독과 빛가람챔버오케스트라가 참여하는 '살롱 드 시네마' 시네토크가 열리며, 해가 진 후에는 해설사와 함께 읍성 골목길을 걷는 '달빛산책'과 달빛 러닝, 요가, DJ 파티로 구성된 '가을 밤마실'이 진행된다.
나주문화재단은 9월 한 달간 전시, 공연, 야간관광을 유기적으로 연계해 관광객의 원도심 체류시간을 늘리고 나주의 역사·문화적 가치를 널리 알릴 계획이라고 밝혔다.
