[경기/CTN]김지우 기자= 성남시 관계자는 "치매는 조기에 발견해 치료를 시작할수록 증상 악화를 늦추고 삶의 질을 유지하는 데 도움이 된다"라며 "검사비 부담으로 진단을 미루는 일이 없도록 지원을 지속하겠다"라고 말했다. 성남시는 치매 감별검사에 드는 본인부담금을 최대 33만 원까지 지원하는 사업을 연중 시행한다고 밝혔다.
성남시에 따르면 보건소 치매안심센터를 거쳐 협약 의료기관에서 감별검사를 받는 시민은 국가 지원금과 별도로 시 자체 예산을 통해 본인부담금을 지원받게 된다.
시는 지난 2025년 7월부터 소득과 나이 제한을 폐지해 모든 시민으로 대상을 확대했으며, 최근 3년간 지원 인원이 지속해서 늘었다고 덧붙였다.
