[광명/CTN]김지우 기자= 박승원 광명시장은 "이번 추경은 시민의 삶을 더 든든하게 살피고, 광명의 미래를 차근차근 준비하는 데 중점을 뒀다"라며 "시민 모두가 더 나은 삶을 누리고 함께 성장하는 도시를 만들겠다"라고 말했다. 광명시는 제1회 추경 대비 1,657억 원 늘어난 1조 5,625억 원 규모의 제2회 추가경정예산안을 시의회에 제출했다고 밝혔다.
광명시에 따르면 이번 추경안에는 광명사랑화폐 발행 지원 37억 원, 안양천 지방정원 조성 22억 원, 전기차 구매 보조 18억 원, 소하2동 뉴빌리지사업 10억 원 등이 포함됐다.
제출된 예산안은 오는 9월 3일부터 열리는 광명시의회 정례회 심의를 거쳐 9월 18일 최종 확정될 예정이다.
지자체가 지역 경기 활성화와 현안 사업 추진을 위해 추경예산안을 편성하고 시의회의 심의를 요청하는 것은 재정 운용상의 정례적인 시정 절차다.
