안산시에 따르면 이번 보고회에는 이민근 안산시장을 비롯해 시의원, 경찰·소방 관계자 등 40여 명이 참석해 연계 행사 추진 상황을 공유하고 부서별 행정지원 및 안전 대책을 점검했다.

올해 대부포도축제는 오는 9월 19일부터 20일까지 대부바다향기테마파크 일원에서 열리며, 대부해솔길 걷기축제 및 안산마라톤대회와 연계해 진행된다. 시 승격 40주년을 기념한 테마 전시관 운영과 포도 활용 디저트, 지역 와인 선보이기 등 다양한 프로그램도 마련될 예정이다.

이처럼 지역 특산물을 홍보하고 주민 참여형 축제를 주최하여 지역 경제 활성화를 도모하는 것은 지자체의 전형적인 행정적 소임이다.

다만 매년 반복되는 지역 축제를 앞두고 행정 인력을 동원한 보고회 개최를 대단한 치적처럼 홍보하며 생색을 내는 것은 전형적인 보여주기식 행정이라는 지적을 피하기 어렵다. 연계 행사가 다수 몰려 극심한 교통 혼잡과 안전사고가 우려되는 만큼, 단순 보고회식 점검에 머물 것이 아니라 현장 중심의 실질적인 인원 통제와 교통 대책을 세워 시민이 체감할 수 있는 안전한 축제 환경으로 성과를 증명해야 한다.

Critics point out that publicizing routine administrative report meetings prior to annual regional festivals borders on administrative showmanship and excessive self-praise. Given the expected traffic congestion and crowd control risks stemming from multiple overlapping events, the municipal government needs practical results, such as implementing actionable traffic mitigation strategies and real-time crowd safety management on site.
