[국방부/CTN]가요진 기자= 김학조 국방부 국제정책관은 "일본 방위대신이 과거 침략전쟁을 미화하고 전쟁범죄자를 합사한 야스쿠니 신사 참배를 강행한 것에 대해 개탄을 금할 수 없다"라며 "이는 양국이 역사를 직시하고 미래지향적 관계를 만들어 나가고자 하는 노력에 정면으로 반하는 것이다"라고 말했다. 국방부는 고이즈미 일본 방위대신의 야스쿠니 신사 참배에 대응해 주한 일본 방위주재관을 국방부로 초치해 엄중히 항의했다고 밝혔다.
