[제주/CTN]가금현 기자= 제주시학교밖청소년지원센터(센터장 최진범, 이하 제주시 꿈드림)가 학교 밖 청소년들의 학력 취득과 건강한 성장을 돕는 가교 역할을 톡톡히 해내고 있다.

제주시 꿈드림은 지난 4월 4일 시행된 '2026년도 제1회 초·중·고졸 검정고시'에서 총 43명의 합격자를 배출했다고 밝혔다.

센터는 그동안 검정고시 대비반 운영, 개별 학습 공간 제공, 인터넷 강의 지원 등 맞춤형 교육 서비스를 제공하며 청소년들의 학업 복귀를 지원해 왔다.

기세를 이어 오는 8월 예정된 제2회 검정고시를 대비하기 위한 '검정고시 대비반'이 5월 21일부터 본격 운영될 예정이다.

참여를 희망하는 9세~24세 학교 밖 청소년은 제주시 꿈드림으로 문의하면 된다.

이와 함께 센터는 청소년들의 복지 및 신체 활동 강화를 위한 지역사회와의 협력도 강화하고 있다.

제주시 꿈드림은 최근 제주시 연동 소재 제이콕배드민턴센터(대표 박순범)와 업무협약을 체결하고, 학교 밖 청소년들을 위한 생필품을 전달받았다.

이번 협약은 청소년들의 안정적인 일상생활을 지원하기 위해 마련되었으며, 향후 양 기관은 청소년들의 신체 활동 증진과 진로 체험 지원을 위해 지속적으로 협력할 방침이다.

박순범 제이콕배드민턴센터 대표는 "청소년들이 건강하게 성장할 수 있도록 조금이나마 힘을 보태고 싶어 후원을 결정했다"고 전했으며, 최진범 센터장은 "따뜻한 나눔을 실천해 주신 제이콕배드민턴센터에 감사드리며, 이번 협약이 청소년들에게 다양한 체험의 기회가 되길 기대한다"고 화답했다.

한편, (재)제주가톨릭아동청소년회가 제주시로부터 위탁받아 운영하는 제주시 꿈드림은 상담, 교육, 자립 지원, 직업 체험, 건강검진, 급식 지원 등 학교 밖 청소년을 위한 종합 맞춤형 서비스를 제공하고 있다.

The center announced that 43 out-of-school youths passed the first round of the 2026 Qualification Exam held on April 4. To support these students, the center has provided tailored educational services, including exam preparation classes, individual study spaces, and access to online lectures.
Continuing this momentum, the center will launch a new preparation class on May 21 for the second round of exams scheduled for August. Out-of-school youth aged 9 to 24 interested in participating can contact Jeju City Kkum-dream.
In addition to academic support, the center is strengthening community partnerships to enhance youth welfare and physical health. Recently, the center signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with J-KOK Badminton Center (CEO Sun-beom Park) located in Yeon-dong, Jeju City, and received donations of daily necessities for the youth.
This agreement aims to support the stable daily lives of out-of-school youth. Moving forward, both organizations plan to collaborate on promoting physical activities and providing career exploration opportunities.
"I decided to sponsor this cause with the hope of giving a little strength to out-of-school youth so they can grow up healthy," said Sun-beom Park, CEO of J-KOK Badminton Center. Director Jin-beom Choi responded, "We are deeply grateful for the warm sharing and interest shown by J-KOK Badminton Center. We hope this agreement leads to diverse experiences and support for our youth."
Jeju City Kkum-dream, managed by the Jeju Catholic Child & Youth Association under the commission of Jeju City, provides comprehensive customized services including counseling, education, self-reliance support, vocational training, health check-ups, and meal support for out-of-school youth.
