[소방청/CTN]가요진 기자= 주영국 소방청 119대응국장은 "관련 기관과의 긴밀한 협력을 통해 농촌 지역 인명피해를 줄이는 데 최선을 다하겠다"라며 "이번 시범운영 결과를 면밀히 검토한 뒤 관계 기관과 협력해 단계적으로 전국에 확대해 나가겠다"라고 말했다.
소방청은 농촌진흥청과 협력해 농업기계 사고 정보를 119 다매체신고시스템으로 직접 전송하는 연계 기술을 개발하고 전남광주통합특별시 소방본부에서 시범운영에 들어간다고 밝혔다.
양 기관은 9월 16일 전남광주 소방본부 전남권역본부에서 현장 시연회를 열고 사고 감지부터 신고 접수까지의 자동 연계 프로세스를 점검했다.
기존에는 농기계 사고 발생 시 사용자 휴대전화를 거쳐 문자로 전달돼 의식 불명이나 통신 장애 발생 시 119 신고가 지연되는 한계가 있었다.
이번 개편을 통해 API 연계 기술이 적용되면서 중간 과정 없이 사고 위치와 상황이 관할 119상황실로 즉시 전송된다.
이번 기술은 신안, 장흥, 고흥, 나주 등 4개 시군에 설치된 사고감지 단말기 165대를 대상으로 우선 적용되며, 소방청은 성과 분석 후 전국 확대를 추진할 방침이라고 밝혔다.
