"Nurturing Future Leaders for Global Peace": FFWPU Holds '2026 Summer HyoJeong Special Workshop for Future Generations'
[CTN/Society] Reporter Keum-Hyun Ka = The Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (hereinafter FFWPU) announced that it hosted the "2026 Summer HyoJeong Special Workshop for Future Generations" during the 2026 summer vacation. The workshop aims to establish the faith identity of future generations, shed new light on the value of the family amid low birth rate challenges, and cultivate talents who will play key roles in global peace.
With a cumulative total of approximately 1,500 youths, middle, and high school students attending, the workshop runs in five sessions from July 2 to August 9. The training takes place at two major sites: the CheongSim International Youth Marine Center in Yeosu, Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Metropolitan City, and the CheongSim International Youth Center in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province.
FFWPU meticulously designed the educational curriculum tailored to the developmental stages and spiritual needs of each age group.
The workshop for young adults focuses on resolving modern social concerns through spirituality. Going beyond simple doctrinal teaching, it guides participants to understand public responsibility and public-minded attitudes through the lives of the Founders. Furthermore, lectures on the "Grand Epic of the Chosen People" shed light on the providential history of the Korean nation, inspiring pride and a sense of mission as future global leaders.
For middle and high school students, the focus is placed on establishing self-identity. Through lectures on the three main themes—"Blessing," "Identity," and "Basic Faith"—participants come to deeply realize that they are precious beings loved by Heavenly Parent (God). In addition, the "Dream Microphone" program helps students overcome vague career anxieties, set concrete life goals, and support one another in becoming the masters of their own lives.
The core educational principle emphasized in this workshop is the "experiential feeling centered on heart (Shimjeong)." To ensure that learning leads to real-life transformation rather than mere intellectual knowledge, FFWPU introduced empathy-centered programs such as the "HyoJeong Cheonwon Pilgrimage Trail" and the "Shimjeong Cafe."
Walking along the pilgrimage trail, participants reflect deeply on their inner selves. Through the Shimjeong Cafe and harmony-building activities, they share their spiritual concerns and visions, practically experiencing the communal awareness of "One Family Under Heavenly Parent." This initiative is helping spread a healthy youth culture rooted in communication and care.
An FFWPU official stated, "This workshop is an educational platform to help future generations embrace Heavenly Parent's will and heart as they grow uprightly toward their dreams. We will continue to spare no effort in supporting them to stand tall as global peace leaders possessing both faith and character."
Founded in Korea in 1954, FFWPU carries out missionary activities across 194 countries worldwide based on the teachings of Founders Sun Myung Moon and Hak Ja Han Moon. Amid a rapidly changing world, FFWPU continues to invest in long-term, systematic education to raise "Pure Water" talents who will help fulfill Heavenly Parent¡¯s dream with an unwavering worldview of faith.
