[CTN/충남] 가금현 기자 = 충청남도자원봉사센터(센터장 오선희)는 14일 충남공감마루에서 한서대학교 지역협력센터(센터장 안성만)와 대학생 자원봉사 활성화 및 지역특화 자원봉사 프로그램 활성화를 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다.
이번 협약은 충청남도자원봉사센터가 추진하고 있는 지역 자원봉사 연계 및 활성화 사업의 일환으로, 대학생 자원봉사 참여를 확대하고 지역사회와 연계한 지속가능한 봉사활동 기반을 마련하기 위해 추진됐다.
특히 충청남도자원봉사센터는 올해 충청남도 해양정책과 공모사업으로 선정된 '2026 해안 클린 릴레이 「충남이 하나 되어 지키는 바다」' 사업을 추진하고 있다.
서산·태안캠퍼스를 운영하며 충남 해안지역과 인접한 한서대학교 지역협력센터와의 협력을 통해 대학생들의 참여를 확대하고, 청년들이 지역사회와 함께 해양환경 보전 활동에 참여하는 자원봉사 모델을 구축할 계획이다.
협약에 따라 충청남도자원봉사센터는 대학생 자원봉사 프로그램 운영과 지역 자원봉사 정보 및 참여기회 제공, 해안 클린 릴레이 등 지역특성 프로그램 연계, 자원봉사 정보교류 및 우수사례 발굴 등을 지원한다.
한서대학교 지역협력센터는 대학생 자원봉사 참여 확대, 전공 연계형 재능기부 봉사활동 발굴, 교과목 연계 자원봉사 운영, 1365자원봉사포털을 활용한 학생 봉사활동 관리 등을 통해 적극 협력하기로 했다.
또한 양 기관은 지역사회 공헌 활동과 공동 홍보, 각종 자원봉사 사업 운영에도 긴밀히 협력해 나갈 예정이다.
오선희 충청남도자원봉사센터장은 "청년들의 참여는 지역 자원봉사의 지속가능성을 높이는 중요한 기반"이라며, "이번 협약을 계기로 대학생들이 해안 클린 릴레이 등 지역사회 문제 해결에 더욱 적극적으로 참여하고, 다양한 기관과 협력해 지역 맞춤형 자원봉사 활동을 확대해 나가겠다"고 말했다.

[CTN/Chungnam] Reporter Geum-hyeon Ga = On the 14th, the Chungcheongnam-do Volunteer Center (Director Oh Sun-hee) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Hanseo University Local Cooperation Center (Director Ahn Sung-man) at Chungnam Gonggam Maru to vitalize university student volunteer activities and regional-specific volunteer programs.
This agreement was initiated as part of the regional volunteer networking and vitalization project promoted by the Chungcheongnam-do Volunteer Center. Its goal is to expand the participation of college students and establish a sustainable foundation for volunteer work in connection with local communities.
In particular, the Chungcheongnam-do Volunteer Center is currently implementing the '2026 Coastal Clean Relay: Ocean Protected by a United Chungnam' project, which was selected for this year's Chungcheongnam-do Marine Policy Division contest. Through cooperation with Hanseo University’s Local Cooperation Center—which operates campuses in Seosan and Taean adjacent to the Chungnam coastal areas—the center plans to expand student participation and build a youth-led volunteer model for marine environmental conservation.
Under the agreement, the Chungcheongnam-do Volunteer Center will support the operation of university student volunteer programs, provide local volunteer information and participation opportunities, link regional-specific programs like the coastal clean relay, and facilitate information exchange and the discovery of outstanding volunteer cases.
In return, the Hanseo University Local Cooperation Center has agreed to actively cooperate by expanding student participation, developing major-linked talent donation activities, operating curriculum-integrated volunteering, and managing student volunteer hours utilizing the 1365 Volunteer Portal.
Furthermore, both institutions plan to cooperate closely on community contribution activities, joint public relations, and the management of various volunteer projects.
Oh Sun-hee, Director of the Chungcheongnam-do Volunteer Center, stated, "Youth participation is a crucial foundation for enhancing the sustainability of local volunteering. With this agreement, we expect college students to participate more actively in resolving community issues through initiatives like the Coastal Clean Relay. We will continue to expand tailored local volunteer activities in cooperation with various institutions."
Ahn Sung-man, Director of the Hanseo University Local Cooperation Center, said, "Volunteering alongside the local community offers a valuable growth opportunity for university students. Through our partnership with the Chungcheongnam-do Volunteer Center, we will fully support our students so they can make practical contributions to marine conservation and community development."
Additionally, on September 19, in celebration of 'International Coastal Cleanup Day,' the two organizations will host a large-scale event in Taean involving volunteers and local residents. The event will feature coastal cleanup activities, environmental experience booths, and a commemorative ceremony.
