다만, 기존에 운영되던 잠원 수영장은 ‘자연형 물놀이장 조성공사’(2028년 이후 개장 예정)로 인해 올해는 운영하지 않는다.

지난해 한강 수영장과 물놀이장에는 총 55만 2,003명이 방문해 큰 사랑을 받았다. 시는 지난 2년간 시범 운영했던 야간 개장 프로그램의 높은 호응에 힘입어, 올해는 7월 3일(금)부터 8월 30일(일)까지 59일 동안 휴일 없이 매일 오전 9시부터 오후 10시까지 야간 운영을 전격 실시한다. (광나루와 양화 물놀이장은 오후 6시까지 운영)

올해는 극심한 폭염이 예상됨에 따라 냉탕 이벤트, 야간 통기타 연주회 및 오케스트라 공연(뚝섬), 워터 뮤직 콘서트 '한강뮤직 퐁당'(난지), 줄타기 체험·공연 '한강얼水! 퐁당'(잠실) 등 다양한 피서 특화 프로그램이 운영된다.

개장 전날인 18일(목)에는 여의도 수영장에서 지역 아동 250명을 초청해 무료 물놀이와 식음을 제공하는 '약자와의 동행' 행사도 진행된다.

이용 요금은 수영장의 경우 어린이 3,000원, 청소년 4,000원, 성인 5,000원이며, 물놀이장은 어린이 1,000원, 청소년 2,000원, 성인 3,000원이다. 6세 미만은 무료다.

다둥이행복카드 소지자, 65세 이상 어르신, 장애인, 국가유공자 등은 증빙서류 제출 시 입장료 50% 할인 혜택을 받을 수 있다.

시민들의 안전과 편의를 위한 인프라도 대폭 강화됐다.

실시간 모니터링을 위한 CCTV 138대가 설치되었으며, 관리소 내 관제실과 안내방송시스템을 연계한 신속 대응체계를 구축했다.

외국인 관광객을 위한 영어 안내판도 42개소에 설치됐다.

또한, 서울시는 깨끗한 수질 유지를 위해 매일 간이 수질검사를 실시하고 매주 정밀검사를 의뢰할 예정이다.
