'합포지목(合抱之木) 생어호말(生於毫末)' 아름드리나무도 아주 작은 싹에서 자라나고, '구층지대(九層之臺) 기어루토(起於累土)'
구층 높이의 높은 누각도 한 줌의 흙을 쌓아 올리는 데서 시작하며, '천리지행(千里之行) 시어족하(始於足下)' 천리 길의 먼 여행도 결국 지금 서 있는 발아래 한 걸음에서 시작된다.
