[충남/CTN]박순신 기자= 지역사회의 어두운 곳을 밝히며 묵묵히 나눔을 실천해 온 자원봉사자들의 축제에서 대한민국 최고 인터넷신문 CTN의 가금현 대표이사가 빛나는 명예훈장을 받았다.

충청남도자원봉사센터는 지난 6월 19일 아산터미널웨딩홀에서 「2026 충청남도 자원봉사자 Awards」를 성황리에 개최했다.

이번 행사는 보이지 않는 곳에서 꾸준히 헌신해 온 우수 자원봉사자들의 노고를 치하하고 자긍심을 높이기 위해 마련된 자리다.

이날 행사장에는 홍종완 충청남도 행정부지사, 장영기 충청남도자원봉사센터 이사장을 비롯해 도내 15개 시·군 자원봉사센터 관계자, 우수 자원봉사자 및 가족 등 320여 명이 참석해 자리를 빛냈다.

올해 충청남도 우수 자원봉사자는 누적 봉사시간 기준 1천 시간부터 1만 시간까지 달성한 총 690명이 선정되는 영예를 안았다.

시상식에서는 각 구간을 대표해 이순복(1천 시간), 이재연(3천 시간), 임경순(5천 시간), 김금자(8천 시간), 조명자(1만 시간) 씨를 비롯한 대표 봉사자들이 인증패와 인증배지를 수여받았다.

특히 이번 시상식의 백미는 역대 1만 시간 이상 자원봉사자에게 수여되는 '충청남도 자체 명예훈장' 수여식이었다.

이날 신규 8천 시간 이상 봉사자들과 함께 마련된 특별 무대는 참석자들의 아낌없는 박수와 존경을 자아냈다.

장영기 충청남도자원봉사센터 이사장은 축사를 통해 "자원봉사자 여러분의 따뜻한 실천과 나눔이 우리 사회를 더욱 건강하고 행복하게 만드는 원동력"이라며 "오랜 시간 한결같이 봉사활동에 참여해 주신 모든 분들께 깊은 감사의 말씀을 드린다"고 고개를 숙였다.

오선희 충청남도자원봉사센터장 역시 "이번 Awards가 자원봉사자들의 헌신과 노고를 되새기고 서로를 응원하는 뜻깊은 자리가 되길 바란다"며 "앞으로도 자원봉사자가 존중받고 인정받는 문화를 조성하기 위해 최선을 다하겠다"고 다짐했다.

한편, 충청남도자원봉사센터는 자원봉사자들의 자긍심 향상과 지속적인 참여를 유도하기 위해 우수 자원봉사자증 발급, 간병비 지원 등 실질적이고 다양한 인정·예우 제도를 확대 운영하고 있다.

CTN CEO Keum-hyun Ga received this special honor in recognition of his lifelong dedication to the local community and his deep love for his neighbors, going far beyond his professional duties as a journalist.

Through these diverse roles, he has successfully accumulated over 10,000 hours of volunteer service.
