[정치/CTN]강현수 기자 = 더불어민주당 김재호 충남도의원 제5선거구(성환·성거·직산·입장) 후보가 14일 오후 후보 등록을 마치고 천안 북부지역의 산업구조 개편과 정주 여건의 획기적 개선을 골자로 한 100년 미래 먹거리 거점 비전을 선포하며 본격적인 선거 체제에 돌입했다. 김 후보는 천안 북부지역이 충남과 천안의 미래 먹거리를 책임지는 거대한 심장으로 도약할 골든타임에 서 있다며 출마 포부를 밝혔다.
공주대학교에서 식품공학을 전공하고 충남 6차산업 자문위원으로 활동한 정책·실무형 인재인 김 후보는 농민들이 정성껏 키운 농산물로 새로운 부가가치를 창출하려 할 때 발목을 잡는 불합리한 규제와 한계를 현장에서 뼈저리게 느꼈다고 술회했다. 그는 현장의 절박함을 도의회로 가져가 근본적인 문턱부터 낮추겠다는 강한 의지를 드러냈다.

[Cheonan/CTN] Reporter Kang Hyun-su = Kim Jae-ho, the Democratic Party of Korea candidate for the 5th constituency of the Chungnam Provincial Assembly (Seonghwan, Seonggeo, Jiksan, Ipjang), completed his candidate registration on the afternoon of the 14th and officially entered the election phase by declaring a vision for a "100-year future food hub" focused on restructuring the industrial system and drastically improving living conditions in Northern Cheonan. Candidate Kim expressed his aspirations, stating that Northern Cheonan is at a golden time to leap forward as a massive heart responsible for the future food of Chungnam and Cheonan.
As a policy and practical talent who majored in food engineering at Kongju National University and served as an advisor for the 6th industry in Chungnam, Candidate Kim noted that he had felt the pain of unreasonable regulations and limits that repeatedly hindered farmers' efforts to create new added value from their carefully grown products. He revealed his strong determination to take that urgency from the field to the provincial council and lower fundamental barriers.
Candidate Kim presented three core visions for the development of the northern region: supporting AI businesses to increase farmers' income, creating a Cheonan landmark on the site of the former stockbreeding farm, and resolving transportation-isolated areas by introducing and expanding "Majung" and rural taxis in the northern region. He plans to make rural areas more vibrant and industries more active based on young passion and practical experience gained in the field.
