The event was designed to showcase Chungnam¡¯s distinctive cultural content to the Southeast Asian market and to spur the development of customized tourism products for Singaporean visitors.

From Ancient Kingdoms to Thrilling Activities
Held May 10–13, the program welcomed representatives from 17 major Singapore travel agencies, including ASA Holidays and Chan Brothers Travel, along with key media figures.

Buyeo: Participants donned traditional hanbok at the Baekje Cultural Complex, strolling through reconstructed royal palaces and immersing themselves in 1,400 years of history.

Yesan: They experienced the dynamic natural scenery of Yesan Lake via its suspension bridge and monorail, identifying activity-based resources appealing to younger travelers.

Local Flavors and Marine Wellness
Beyond sightseeing, hands-on experiences drew enthusiastic responses:

Yesan: At Eunseong Farm, participants baked apple pies, enjoying both the freshness of local produce and the fun of cooking.

Taean: They visited the International Horticultural Healing Expo and the Taean Marine Healing Center, exploring high-end wellness infrastructure favored by Singaporean tourists.

Dangjin: At Sinpyeong Brewery, they crafted rice-fermented bath products and sampled traditional Korean liquor, discovering the depth of Korea¡¯s brewing heritage.

Chungnam as the ¡°Most Korean¡± Destination
During the tour, the foundation hosted a Chungnam Tourism Briefing, highlighting major festivals and attractions. Participants also inspected premium accommodations such as Lotte Resort, Resom Resort, and Taean¡¯s glamping pensions, confirming Chungnam¡¯s readiness for extended-stay tourism.

A Singaporean participant remarked: ¡°The historical Baekje culture and wellness experiences in Taean are highly attractive for Singaporean tourists. We plan to combine Chungnam¡¯s hidden gems into new tourism products that set fresh trends.¡±
