[CTN/사회]가금현 기자 = 서령고등학교 학부모회가 학생들의 행복한 학교생활과 교육환경 개선을 위해 학교발전기금을 기탁하며 따뜻한 교육공동체의 모습을 보여줬다.

지난 9월 18일, 서령고등학교 학부모회는 그동안 자원순환 캠페인과 다양한 봉사활동을 통해 마련한 학교발전기금을 학교에 전달했다.

이번 발전기금은 보호자들이 중심이 되어 헌 옷과 고철 등을 모으는 자원순환 캠페인을 진행해 얻은 수익금에 도서관 사서도우미 활동을 통해 마련한 봉사료를 더해 조성됐다.

단순한 기금 전달을 넘어 보호자들이 직접 자원을 모으고 봉사활동에 참여해 학생들을 위한 마음을 실천했다는 점에서 의미가 크다.

기탁식에 참석한 한 학부모는 "학교와 늘 긴밀하게 소통하며 아이들의 성장을 곁에서 응원해 왔다"며 "보호자들의 땀방울과 정성이 담긴 이 기금이 우리 학생들의 행복한 학교생활을 위해 소중하게 쓰이기를 바란다"고 말했다.
