[정치/CTN]가금현 기자= 서산시의회가 제10대 전반기 의회를 이끌어갈 의장단과 상임위원회 구성을 마무리하고 본격적인 의정 활동에 돌입했다.

서산시의회는 9일 제313회 임시회 제2차 본회의를 개최하여 전반기 의장·부의장 및 각 상임위원회 위원장을 선임하고 원구성을 최종 완료했다고 밝혔다.

이날 치러진 의장단 선거에서는 3선의 장갑순 의원(국민의힘)이 의장으로, 역시 3선의 김기욱 의원(국민의힘)이 부의장으로 각각 선출되며 전반기 의회를 이끌 투톱 체제를 구축했다.

의회의 살림과 운영을 책임질 의회운영위원회는 초선의 기양순 의원(더불어민주당)이 위원장을, 이만 의원(국민의힘)이 부위원장을 맡았으며 가충순·김애란·조동식 의원이 위원으로 합류했다.

시정 전반과 복지를 담당할 행정문화복지위원회는 재선의 이정수 의원(국민의힘)이 위원장으로, 초선의 이국찬 의원(더불어민주당)이 부위원장으로 선출됐다. 위원으로는 김애란·이경화·이만·조동식 의원이 활동하게 된다.

지역 경제와 개발을 주도할 산업건설위원회는 초선의 강석환 의원(더불어민주당)이 위원장, 송치윤 의원(더불어민주당)이 부위원장으로 선출됐으며, 가충순·기양순·김기욱·김혜림·안원기 의원이 위원으로 이름을 올렸다.

이번에 출범한 제10대 서산시의회 전반기 의장단 및 상임위원회는 오는 2028년 6월 30일까지 서산시의 발전과 시민들을 위한 의정 활동을 펼칠 예정이다.

10th Seosan City Council Completes Organization for First Half… Jang Gap-soon Elected as Chair

The Seosan City Council announced that it successfully completed its organization during the 2nd plenary session of the 313th extraordinary session held on the 9th, where the chair, vice-chair, and standing committee chairs were elected.
In the leadership election held that day, three-term Councilmember Jang Gap-soon (People Power Party) was elected as the Chair, and fellow three-term Councilmember Kim Ki-wook (People Power Party) was elected as the Vice-Chair, establishing the leadership structure for the first half of the term.
For the Steering Committee, which manages council operations, first-term Councilmember Ki Yang-soon (Democratic Party of Korea) was elected as Chair, and Councilmember Lee Man (People Power Party) as Vice-Chair. Councilmembers Ga Choong-soon, Kim Ae-ran, and Jo Dong-shik will serve as committee members.
The Administrative, Cultural, and Welfare Committee will be led by two-term Councilmember Lee Jung-soo (People Power Party) as Chair and first-term Councilmember Lee Guk-chan (Democratic Party of Korea) as Vice-Chair. Councilmembers Kim Ae-ran, Lee Kyeong-hwa, Lee Man, and Jo Dong-shik were appointed as members.
The Industry and Construction Committee will be headed by first-term Councilmember Kang Seok-hwan (Democratic Party of Korea) as Chair and Councilmember Song Chi-yoon (Democratic Party of Korea) as Vice-Chair. Councilmembers Ga Choong-soon, Ki Yang-soon, Kim Ki-wook, Kim Hye-rim, and Ahn Won-gi completed the committee lineup.
The newly formed leadership and committees of the first half of the 10th Seosan City Council are scheduled to carry out their legislative duties until June 30, 2028.
